Why Prayers At 8:30?

Choir practice at church ended at 8:30 p.m. each week. The choir director would turn to Stan and ask him to lead the choir in a closing prayer. And Prayers At 8:30 was born.

It’s tough to lead group prayer and do it right for everyone. Some people like long prayers. Some like traditional language. The prayers that Stan wrote are neither.

The prayers here are changed about once a week.
