We look at others who seem to work 24 hours a day, and we sundials are only good in the sunshine.

And then it rains.

Help us to undertand that it is You who has made us and has set us each in our appointed places in creation. If we are to be sundials standing in the rain, teach us the grace to wait for Your light.
