O God, You have given us the gifts of our five senses, and yet . . . In our
noisy, full days, we often fail to hear Your voice.
In our lonely times, we fail to feel Your arms around us.
Amidst the odors of the world we fail to smell what You have cooking for
us.
In Communion, we fail to taste your goodness.
We look down at the minutia of our lives and don't see You standing tall
over the earth.
Wake up all our senses that we might experience You with our full being.
