Many Halloweens ago, You saw, O Lord, many of us pretending to be princesses
or ghosts or pirates.
On this Halloween, You have made new costumes for each of us. It is no
longer a time of pretending. We are now clothed as family members---members
of Your family. And Jesus is our elder brother.
Teach us to show off our costumes as gleefully as five-year-olds show off
theirs.
